Give Your Life To Christ

Why Should I?
Because we are sinful people. God is a holy God who cannot tolerate sin. Our best efforts to be the best person we can be still fall short of Him. It is because of our sin that we are condemned to death, eternally separated from God.

So What? God is Loving, He’ll Understand!
Yes, God is loving, and yet He is Holy and Just. He cannot stand sin. You may do all the right things, say all the right things, go to church every now and then, but God says that that’s not enough. We must make a decision! A decision for life!

Ok, So What’s Your Point?
The point is God sent His Son Jesus - fully God and fully man - to die on the cross. His death paid for your sins and mine. It is because of His death that we are able to have a relationship with God once again.

I Still Don’t Quite Get It, Go On...
God could only accept a perfect sacrifice to justify (make us “right”) us in His sight. Because of His love for us, He sent His Son to pay that price. Without that sacrifice, we would have no hope. But just because He died doesn’t make this all better....yet.

What Do You Mean?
Well, if I had a $100 bill in my hand, and I told you to take it, and you didn’t, would it be yours? No. You didn’t take it. You needed to take it from me and make it your own. The same with Jesus.

So What Do I Do?
You must pray to God. Come to Him and tell Him that you know you are a sinner. Nothing you can do by your own works can save you and get you into Heaven. Tell Him you want Him to come into your life and save you. Tell Him you believe Jesus died for you, and you accept that sacrifice to forgive your sins--and mean it! Once you have accepted Christ as your Savior, you are made right in God’s sight--you’re saved...you’re a Christian...your sins are forgiven. You now have the reality that when you die, you will be with Him, forever.
